The Community Forum brings together students to discuss the issues affecting them as residents of Newcastle and the surrounding areas. It brings students together with key local decision-makers to discuss life in Newcastle and to build links that enable Northumbria students to get involved in their local communities and foster a healthy community spirit. Any Northumbria student can attend and those students who take part regularly can become NSU Community Champions, receiving recognition on their Higher Education Achievement Report and through our other volunteer reward and recognition schemes – see https://www.mynsu.co.uk/nsu/awards/.
