We have teamed up with local Charity Peace of Mind Communities' to promote their XMAS Shoebox Appeal

Peace of Mind are based in Gateshead and work with locally-based refugee families to help them settle in to the area and improve their quality of life. They currently have 77 children using their services, ranging from 1-12 years old, and many of these children live in very real poverty.

By compiling a shoebox containing some very basic and affordable items we can all help show compassion and help bring a smile to the faces of some very vulnerable young people this XMAS

Further information is on the attached poster and the SU Welcome Desk at City and office at Coach Lane will be acting as a donation point up to and including Thursday 19th December.
