Our Events

  • We organise bi-weekly social events for our members to come together and socialise
  • NUMS hold one long trip each month, there are occasions where shorter trips are held in the same month.

We live in a beautiful part of the country with the Alnwick coastline just a short bus ride away and the Kielder forest easily in range for a day trip. At the Northumbria University Mountaineering Society, we like to explore the national parks around this country with a variety of gentle walks and challenging hikes suitable for people of all experience.

Follow us on social media, we post regularly and is the easiest way to check in with us. We also share our trip photos on Facebook in albums and they are not to be missed!
