No experience or knowledge of Buddhism or mindfulness required (and there'll be no attempts at conversion).
Mindfulness meditations (and meditation in general) are most commonly associated with Buddhism, though they now have a wide range of applications, including in psychological therapies. We have a collection of Buddhist books you can borrow if you're interested in learning about Buddhism, available at the Friday morning drop-in. If you're not interested in Buddhism but want to come to sessions worry not, drops in are open to all.
Our twice-weekly drop-ins are an opportunity to check in with yourself, sit quietly and reconnect to a bit of calm.
50p suggested donation per session, society members will decide what to do with this money at the end of each semester. If you are skint, that's fine, come anyway.
