Get involved with this immenseley rewarding project by becoming a Nightline volunteer!

As a Nightline volunteer, you will develop skills such as active listening, teamwork empathy and more. We recruit and train student volunteers to cover overnight shifts (8pm-7am) answering phone calls, and instant messages from students who need someone to talk to.

Students wishing to volunteer for Nightline must first attend an informal interview with our Vice President Welfare and a member of our leadership committee. Students who pass the interview stage are then invited to attend a two-day training weekend, which you must complete in full and pass before being able to sign up to shifts.

We also recruit ‘Friends of Nightline’, students who don’t volunteer for overnight shifts but want to help promote and raise awareness of the service.
