The Ouseburn Farm Project gives you the chance to volunteer at a local city farm, helping out with a range of tasks in the delightful Ouseburn Valley.
Hello volunteers and welcome to the Ouseburn Farm Project! Our project aims to give Northumbria University students the chance to get outdoors and get involved with work at the local farm, such as caring for animals, gardening and farm maintenance as well as gaining valuable practical skills and making new friends.
It is open to all Northumbria students and is a great opportunity to get more involved with the community and to have fun! If you are interested in coming along or getting even more involved in the project, please feel free to get in touch.
Volunteering at Ouseburn Farm is the ideal project for you if you love being outdoors and getting hands on! Learn new skills whilst working in the garden and help the local community by supporting the work of the farm. You don't need any experience, just an enthusiasm for volunteering.
We're always doing something different, whether it be clearing the orchard or painting a chicken coop, so why not join us and meet all of the farm animals too?
Sessions will be run fortnightly so sign up or get in touch for more information, and like our pages on Facebook and Instagram for all of the latest updates!
