Black History Month- Creative Writing Workshop

This session is ran by Laura Fish, a Senior Lecturer at Northumbria University who was born in London in 1964, of Caribbean parents. Laura has lived in Southern Africa and Australia and is currently working on her third novel that explores her experience of living in South Africa.

This session also includes short talks from the humanities department specifically about black writing in the past and some great new research about writing culture in Nigeria.

This workshop is part of a programme of activity designed to support black students in developing a community and relationship within the Students Union.
