The show is a biographical and looks at his history of mental health. At 24 he was misdiagnosed with schizophrenia and spent periods in mental health hospitals. John is now correctly diagnosed as Bi-Polar 1 and has been a service user for over 20 years. The show will aim to destigmatise and raise awareness of issues around mental health.
