What did I do, in Week Two?

Hello Northumbria! It is me again your President.

I’d just thought I’d update you on what has been a rather busy week two. But first, another congrats to all those who graduated over the past week – well done, you deserve it! Now go out there and make yourself proud af.

So on Tuesday just gone, I popped down with your VP Education to our London Campus on a GOAL (Go Out And Listen) day to find out what you students in our wonderful capital had to say. We’ve collected all your feedback, typed it up and we’re ready to take it to those who have a say in what happens in London. Also, we gave you all an awful lot of FREE PIZZA! And boy, it was good!

Then on Wednesday night we had the congregation dinner, all your Sabbs were there – except Ryan cause he doesn’t care about students (just kiddin’ he graduated that day, well done lad). The event was to celebrate all those who graduated, with a handful of students in attendance but also a few specially chosen members of staff who had gone above and beyond.

I also got to sit amongst some new faces, and some old (I knew 'em, not that they're geet old) and discuss my plans going forward with my term in office.

The rest of the week has really just been a blur of training and meetings, with some interesting information hopefully coming your way soon! And that my friends is it for this week ... oh except – we’re also getting rid of a load of old branded shirts and hoodies!

So if you’re around and after an extra set of pyjamas, or never got that coveted NSU hoody you always had your eye on then please feel free to pop into the SU (City Campus) and visit us at the office with the funky grass! (We'll be back 9AM next Monday).

That's it for me this week! You stay classy, San Diego.
